Roost 2013 Calendar

Wow I have been truly MIA these last few months!  After the Heritage Holiday Faire I really wanted to post pictures and tell all about the show and how it all turned out but being 8 months pregnant and doing the show took a lot out of me and I needed some down time to recuperate.  Then after I deemed myself recuperated, it was Christmas time and I wanted some time with family, then of course it was the day after christmas and our little bundle of joy had arrived and to be honest this is the first 10 min that I have had to even get online.  So here I am 2:51 in the afternoon in my jammies covered in baby burp up, no make up, and nodding off as I type but, LOVING every second of it!  In short this will be a short post but I wanted to let you know I'm still here and I'll still being doing some FANTASTIC shows this year.

We'll be at the Washington County Fairgrounds with 80 booths of FANTASTIC JuNk!!! We will have plenty of recycled, upcycled and green items for your enjoyment!

Heritage Holiday Faire

I can't believe that it's already time to start gearing up for the holidays!  I wanted to let everyone know this is going to be the GRAND FINALLY of the year for me Roost Reimagined.  Next year I am slowing down and enjoying my new little bundle of joy due this Christmas Eve.  So of course I have to go out with a big BANG! and here it will be...

Ruffles and Rust Post Pictures.

I had an absolute BLAST with all my fellow vendors at the Ruffles and Rust Show a couple weeks ago.  I have been so busy trying to keep up on custom orders and getting geared up for my upcoming holiday show that I haven't had time to post pictures of the show.  So here are a few snaps that I grabbed before the tides of people came through.

Ruffles and Rust THIS WEEKEND!!!

This is one of the most inspiring shows.  It never ceases to amaze me the creativity that the vendors of this show bring to the table.  This will be the 3rd time that I have done this show and the Hostess of the show Timi is so great!  She only accepts the BEST OF THE BEST in her shows so it is a real honor to be a part of it.

As I am 7+ months pregnant I probably shouldn't have signed up to do the show but I just couldn't say no, I have sooooooo much fun seeing all my friends and fellow vendors and all the amazing things that they bring.  If you have never been to one of these shows I HIGHLY recommend it you won't be disappointed.  It is really aptly named "A vintage Market to Inspire".



So here are the particulars:

Friday

Friday October 12th, 5pm – 9pm
First Choice Shopping

Tickets will be $30 at the door the night of the event.

Included in this ticket price is Friday First Choice Shopping with a limited number of shoppers and the option of free entry again on Saturday morning without waiting in the line.

SATURDAY

Ruffles & Rust Vintage Market
Saturday October 13th 9am- 4pm

$7 entry fee

Saturday event tickets can only be purchased at the door on Saturday.

Shopping Tips:

In order to keep traffic flowing in the aisles, the Snohomish County Fire Marshal has asked that we have no strollers or shopping carts on the event floor. There will be stroller and shopping cart parking available inside the entry doors.

This can be a difficult event for children. Please keep an eye on your childrens at all times. Vendors may exercise the right to charge for all stained, damaged, or broken items.

Entry fee for children

Age 5 and up……..$3

Under age 5 ……… Free

No pets allowed. No pets in strollers, or pet carriers will be allowed in the building. All service dogs must have proper identification.

Most vendors are cash only. There will be ATM machines located in the building as well on the fairground property

Parking is free

It's Been a WHILE.. but LAST BARN SHOW of the year for ROOST Reimagined

I sincerely apologize for my absence on my blog.  This year is turning out to be a very busy year.  I have had quite a few shows this year and on a personal level life has become very...exciting...nerve racking...interesting...and well very busy.  I am currently looking to feather my own roost as after 9 years my husband and I have decided that we want to extend our little family of 3 to 4.  I am 19 weeks pregnant and super excited!  We find out this week what we are having and I have convinced myself that we're having a girl.  I know that they say that it is a 50/50 chance but my husband's family is SORELY lopsided, in the last two generations of his family there are 26 boys and only 2 girls.  I think it is HIGH time that we have a girl around here.

On a more professional note this weekend is my LAST barn show at the Roost Barn for the year.  You will not want to miss this show.  We will be having some fabulous appetizers, great wine, fun time of socializing and of course there will be some great shopping too.

This sale will feature crisp vintage linens, fun upcycled messenger bags, new letter art by Ben Stauber (local artist) chic rustic pieces, French linens and runners, French grain sack pillows and tons of new vignettes of vintage goodies for your home and garden.  The Roost Barn and outside grounds will be packed!  There is something for everyone so get there early for the best selection.

Pre-Show Preview Party starts Friday
