Spring Grand Opening at the Roost Barn

Starting May 4th Roost will be opening for a special party for roost fans. I will be throwing myself a Birthday party and celebrating with my friends and Roost fans so join me on Friday May 4th from 5-9. In celebration of spring and turning another year older, another year wiser, and another year of counting all my many blessings. ($5 cover includes some wonderful appetizers, desserts, and wine)

Heritage Spring Faire

April 20-21

Join us for the awakening of spring at the Willamette Heritage Center. Talented local vendors come together to showcase their wonderful merchandise. There will be home, garden, and vintage accents to celebrate the awakening of spring.

April 20th

Pre-Show party from 5-9pm

Enjoy a wonderful night of local wines, delightful appetizers, and early buying on all spring market finds. Tickets for this event are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.

April 21st

Spring Tea from 10am-noon

Guests will enjoy a savory 3 course tea with a delicate sweet finish.

Tickets for this event are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.

SEATING IS LIMITED

Official show opening is April 21st from 10-4pm Free Admission.

There has been much anticipation on the delightful meal that we have chosen to serve for our Heritage Spring Tea. So here at last is the menu.

First course

Spring greens topped with feta cheese, crazens, and candied almond slivers with a poppy seed vinaigrette

Second course

Quiche

Feta Chicken Tea Sandwich

Feather her nest vintage inspired baby shower

Several weeks ago I held a baby shower for one of my closest friends Kelsie. She and her husband will soon be blessed with a baby girl. For the shower I chose the theme "feather her nest" mostly because I ~~like~~ adore feathers and birds. You may recall that I took Martha's (Vintage Trifles) class on cake books and I made those little cakes with the birds on top. If you missed the pictures they are here on my facebook page. Well I did a few more pretties and here are a few pictures on how it all came together.
